Just Payton and Mommy for this event! Brandon was busy at work and Nana watched Hudson. Payton and I had a great evening together. He just couldn't seem to get enough of the baseball game. The whitecaps sure know how to create fun for the family! We went from watching the silly mascots to jumping in the bounces house. What three year old can walk past a playground without playing? Not mine! We bounced, climbed, watched, ate, drank a slushy, and sat next to the apposing teams players. Ryan Cook, a pitcher from the South Bend Hawks, sat directly next to us the entire game. He had a radar gun that he was using throughout the game and Payton was  interested in learning what he was doing. Ryan was a super nice guy. Part way through the game we watched him walk over to the dug out. Soon after, he approached Payton and gave him a baseball that had been used in the game. Payton was overjoyed! Ryan signed the ball and I took a photo of the two of them. What a nice guy! I don't think Payton will soon forget our evening together. Not bad considering the tickets were free!
