Payton is such a big boy! Very calm and quiet, the bottle seems to help in more situations than not! Please pray for our little Payton. God has been so good and true to us throughout our journey as parents so far and we are leaning on him to help us through these next few months. When Payton was born he had a heart defect called tetrology of fallot. Soon after the diagnosis we decided to put our trust and faith in God to heal Payton. We know that the creator of our earth can do all things. One month after Payton's diagnosis we received news that Payton no longer had the condition that he was born with. Two or the three holes miraculously disappeared and surgery was not currently needed. One hole still remained but the Doctor was not recommending surgery. Just last week we went in for a routine 6 month check up at the pediatric cardiologist. Payton was such a good boy! He liked the nurses and smiled through the majority of the exam. What a trooper he is! The echo-cardiogram showed that the hole is still present and that it doesn't appear to have gotten any smaller since last January. We have been referred to a doctor in Ann Arbor to perform heart surgery sometime within the next few months. Please pray for guidance and wisdom for us as we meet with doctors and make decisions.

Julia & Brandon, Nothing in this life can explain the unconditional love we have for our children. Without a second thought we would give of our own selves if it meant our children didn't ever have to endure anything that WE DIDN'T WANT THEM TOO. CHILDREN ARE JUST SUCH A SWEET BLESSING! I know what you are going through right now is tough. I wish I could take away the aches in your hearts and give you the comfort you need. I know with all my heart that GOD has this under control. He has already healed thre holes and amazed doctors and friends. He can do this again for you. I would just keep placing my hand over his little and heart and praying that GOD heal him. Believe with all your heart it can be done. The choice you make is what is right for your son and you as parents. It is your faith and your decision. Ask God to really just speak to your heart. It is not always easy for us to understand Gods plans when things don't go the way we want them to. We are all human and your babies are simply your babies. If they get a scratch on a knee it breaks our hearts. I just feel that know matter what the outcome is Peyton is God's child and he will be the perfect little boy he has always been. If he has the surgery you two would be a great witness for what God has given you. Just remember that if God brings you to it , he will bring you through it. I am very sorry that this is going on in your lives. You two have always been so amazing to me. You shine on what a marriage should look like and as parents they don't come any better than you. You will be in my prayers daily and so will that little man. Those boys are just perfectly gorgeous! Little models! I hope you all have a great weekend! Thanks for my nice letter!
