One week from today is Christmas. Wow, has this year flown by or what? I feel like I say this every year but since the kids have joined the family, the years fly by at an even faster pace! This year has been full of blessings and fun. It began in January when we celebrated Payton's first birthday. It's hard to believe he was barely even walking at the beginning of the year. He now is running, jumping, climbing, and tumbling! Soon after January, I found out I was pregnant. It was a long pregnancy that won't soon be forgotten! Hudson was completely worth the morning sickness, sleepless nights, and itching! He has brought so much joy to our family. He smiles constantly and loves his brother Payton. Our summer was full of travels and outdoor fun. We enjoyed a handful of trips to Ohio and several trips to Lake Michigan. We spent a few days at Silver Lake and many days in Saugatuck visiting family. Hudson's arrival on October 5th seemed as if it were still summer. It was a record breaking 92 degrees on his "birth" day. It's hard to believe it was that warm out. Brandon began his new job in October. He continues to enjoy the work he is doing. It is a busy time of year for the restaurant business and he's keeping right up with the busy schedule. Just last Monday Brandon finished his degree at Cornerstone University. What will we do with our Monday nights? I'm so proud of you Brandon! The family is doing great and we're ready for Christmas. We'll be spending the day in Birmingham with our Michigan and Texas family. Merry Christmas to our blogger friends!
