Today was Payton day! Brandon had the day off and we decided to do "Payton" things to occupy our time as a family. We started out by getting Payton's haircut. We thought we'd give Nana a break. Today we went to Snip It's and Payton got his first professional haircut. Payton enjoyed all of the fun characters in the salon. When we arrived Payton's 3 friends were there getting hair cuts too. Payton didn't want to sit in the chair until a root beer sucker was offered to him. As you can see, he was content and happy to sit in the chair while eating the sucker. Payton received a prize when he was finished and a certificate for surviving his first haircut. What a cute little establishment. We enjoyed our time. Next, it was off to visit the butterflies at Fredrick Meijer Gardens. Payton was in awe looking at the thousands of butterflies. We've never seen so many in our lives! This year they have some very interesting species and some are larger than Brandon's hand. As you can see, by the end of the trip, Payton was ready for a break. Actually, a nap was more like it!
